Hey friends—I’m Sydnie! If life has been feeling heavy, chaotic, or like you’ve been carrying too much for too long, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to do it alone. I’m passionate about walking alongside people through the hard stuff in a way that feels supportive, honest, and empowering.

My approach is trauma-informed and client-centered. I don’t believe your past defines you, but I do believe it holds important context—what you’ve survived, what you’ve been taught to tolerate, and what you’ve had to do to get through. I focus on building a strong, trustworthy relationship so we can unpack what’s happening together and create real, sustainable change.

As a woman of color, I’m deeply committed to supporting women of color—and I’m explicit about why: because oppression impacts mental health. Racism, sexism, colorism, and other systems of power shape how we move through the world, what we’re expected to carry, and how safe we feel being fully ourselves. Too often, women of color are expected to be “strong”, to stay quiet, to over-function, and to keep it together while their own needs get minimized or ignored.

I aim to create a space where we can name the systems and experiences that have impacted you—without you having to over-explain your reality—and where your anger, grief, exhaustion, joy, and softness are all welcome. This work is about healing and liberation: reclaiming your voice, strengthening self-trust, setting boundaries without guilt, and taking up space in your life unapologetically.

Outside of therapy, I love spending time with family and friends, listening to live music and going to concerts, traveling when I can, and reading—especially romance novels (lol), but truly all kinds of books.
